Q. When is check out?

A. Check out is by 10am on the day of your departure.

Q. What if I want to cancel my booking?

A. As we are only a small operation with high demand, we cannot always refund the full cost of your booking if you decide to cancel. We highly recommend you cover yourself with travel insurance, just in case something unforeseen occurs. Please check our Bookings section for our full cancellation terms.

Q. Will I be charged for cleaning?

A. We do ask that you leave the chalet in a clean and reasonable condition when you leave, as additional cleaning will incur an extra charge. Repairs will also incur an additional charge – both of which will be deducted from the credit card presented on arrival.

Q. What is the property like?

A. Caves Road Chalets is located 10 kilometres from the Margaret River township. There are 6 rustic loft style chalets on our property, which are private and quiet. Chalets are surrounded by natural bush land, with gorgeous native flowers blooming in spring, and flora and fauna to enjoy all year round. We’re also close to the ocean, and local vineyards and breweries.

Q. How much do the chalets cost?

A. The cost of our chalets depends on the time of year you would like to stay. We recommend checking the price list on this page to see what our rates are. Simply select a date, and information on pricing and availability will be shown on the screen.

Q. Can I smoke in the chalet?

A. No. Our chalets are non-smoking. However, you are welcome to smoke outdoors. We do require patrons to pay an additional cleaning fee, if they smoke inside the chalets. This fee covers cleaning for curtains, blinds, mattresses, lounge suites and other effected items. We also require patrons to pay for the period of time the chalet is unrented, while it is being restored to its previous condition.

Q. Do you provide dog-friendly accommodation?

Yes! Dogs are more than welcome. Just let us know before you make your booking, as in rare cases, we cannot accommodate certain breeds of dog. We have a limit of 2 dogs per chalet, and each dog will cost $11 per night. For our Pet Policy, please click here.

Q. Do you have high chairs?

A. Yes. High chairs, baby baths, stair guards and cots are available on request.

Q. Can I use the log fire in my chalet?

A. Yes of course! You are welcome to use the log fire during the winter months, but you will need to buy firewood. This is usually available from the service station in town or good hardware stores.

Q. How do I contact you?

A. Email [email protected] or phone (08) 9755 5266. Please contact us if you have any questions about your stay.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
